Allergies, Asthma and Low Back Pain

I am a third year student at Life University. I have been under chiropractic care since the age of 14. While the care helped with my low back pain, it did nothing for my allergies or my severe asthma. I have been on medication for asthma since the age of 12, but the medical doctors were unable to relieve my severe allergies to dogs, cats, dust, etc. I came to a NUCCA specialist Dr. Friedman as a last resort, hoping that he could somehow help me, if even just a little. Well, it has been about 3 months, and I am able to stay in the same room with a dog and a cat, with hardly any breathing difficulty whatsoever! This is something that I have never been able to do before. I am so grateful for the time Dr. Friedman spent with me, never quitting or getting pessimistic, and staying with me until the problem was corrected. I cannot recommend or commend Dr. Friedman highly enough. He is truly a consummate professional, and a great person.

Asthma, Allergies and Shoulder Pain

My daughter, Blayne, and I began NUCCA care in December 1997. I was experiencing severe shoulder pain, and Blayne suffered from silent asthma due to allergies. Blayne used two types of inhalers and took allergy shots weekly. The NUCCA care we have received has totally eliminated my shoulder pain, and Blayne has stopped allergy shots and rarely needs an inhaler.

Asthma and Chronic Pains

I have a degree in Math. Numbers are my thing. I've always liked them because they were always absolute. Everything could be proved one way or the other. Needless to say my conservative approach did not lend itself to the philosophies of Chiropractic medicine. Medicine should be left to the real doctors, MDs. I tell you this so you can truly understand the epiphany Dr. Friedman has given my family and me.

We met and became friends with Russell before he was our doctor. After hearing we had an asthmatic daughter who hadn't been off of antibiotics for years, and a son who got strep throat if you looked at him, Russell knew he was needed. He didn't realize how difficult it would be to convince the parents. After making us an offer we couldn't refuse, we reluctantly agreed to treatment. The results were amazingly quick. Within weeks, no more antibiotics (not to mention the inhalers and steroids) or strep throat. WOW!

Once the kids were on the program, it didn't take Mom and Dad long to follow suit for our ills. Russell cleared up a chronic shoulder problem on me and some hand tingling in my husband. Neither of us would think of going anywhere else first for our medical problems. We also have become Russell's biggest advocates. Any chance we get to tell our friends the benefits we have received. Most are a little surprised because they know we're pretty mainstream (we're Republicans for heaven's sake) and think Chiropractic care is a little off. Boy are they wrong.
